Polett Cuvée 2018

As a family-oriented winery, this wine is one of our favorites, leastways if we looking the names. Polett is one of the grandchildrens, who grown up in our fields. The plan was, to make a big white wine, which as unique and elegant as her. We made a cuvée from her favorite type of grapes, which resulted in a characteristic, flavourful but strainless and loveable wine, just like the one whom it’s named after. In 2018 we had an amazingly good year, the weather was warm and rainless, which favored us. The grapes matured before the usual harvesting date, so we had to pick Zenit in the and of August, Chardonnay in the middle, and Tramini at the end of September. We fermented the wine in second- and third-filled barrique barrels, in the hope of a more complex result. After 10 months of maturation, we received an outstanding, full bodied white wine. When we were tasting it for the first time, we were way more than satisfied by the flavors and the fragrance. We recommend it to every wine-lover gourmand, for every occasion, with light dishes or just its own, served at 10-12°C.
