Tekenőháti Merlot Superior 2011
Thanks to 2011’s unusually warm weather, the harvesting of the red grapes could have started in an earlier period. The Merlot from Tekenőhát was picked on the 21st of September, fully riped. Its intensive dark ruby color, with „deep-Merlot”, smells complete our well-bodied dry red wine. The high alcohol consistency and the highly restained production make this one a marking out from the other competitors.It can be a real experience even for gourmets, due to its big potential. The barrique barrel fermentation and long bottle aging process lead to a complex red wine.
Best paired with proud flesh-based dishes or with dark chocolate-covered desserts, served in 18-20°C.
